Role Overview:
The position is responsible for the smooth functioning of Department in terms of developing core business applications, MIS and implementation of IT policies and procedures, minimize security risks, maintain operations and systems, procurement of IT related hardware and software in line with budget requirements and ensure training and development of users to achieve business goals.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At-least 12-15 years of relevant experience preferably within the insurance or financial sector.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity, cloud computing, and enterprise systems.
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and develop IT policy, procedures, guidelines and ensure implementation.
- Analyze and suggest improvements in Business Process Re-engineering, user requirements and propose best possible solution(s).
- Ensure overall management of software updates, such as, testing, user acceptance and deployment in production servers.
- Ensure generation of MIS reports in response to requests by various divisions / departments/branches in accordance with their requirements.
- Administer and ensure periodic backup of database and prepare Disaster Recovery Plan.
- Ensure smooth functioning of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN).
- Execute agreements with network/service providers and vendors for smooth functioning of IT network infrastructure.
- Ensure effective measures for Management of Information Security and IT assets.
